Project Description

Contract Value: £150K

Contract Duration: 8 months

Decorall were appointed to decorate the prisoner processing facilities in Cathcart Police Station, Glasgow.

On this major refurbishment project we carried out extensive chemical paint stripping works to remove existing wall coatings in 58 cells and in several corridor areas. We spray applied fire retardant paint to all stripped walls using our airless spray units and then used an anti-graffiti glaze top coat to provide extra wall protection.

In addition to all specialist coatings and paint spraying works we also carried out ames taping, applied fabric backed wall paper coverings and carried out further decoration works in the Police Station's new build extension area.

All works were completed next to a fully operational police office and we delivered this decoration project within the programme period, and in conjunction with all other trades.
